Here’s how the Payroll Template Tool works:
EMPLOYEE INFO TAB
- Click on Employee Info tab on bottom of template.
- ADD:
- Employee Name
- Hourly wage
- Tax Status
- Federal Allowance (W-4)
REQUIRED TO KNOW EVERY YEAR:
- STATE TAX PERCENTAGE
- FEDERAL TAX PECENTAGE
- SOCIAL SECURITY TAX PERCENTAGE
- MEDICARE TAX PERCENTAGE
MAKE SURE YOU ENTER YOUR NUMBERS CORRECTLY.
- When you add these tax numbers…
- Click on the box you are edited; you will see a small plus+ sign in the right lower corner.
- Hover your cursor over the plus sign until you see a large plus+ sign.
- Click on large plus+ sign-keeping your finger clicked and drag all the way down to the bottom of your template. It will copy the rate you entered all the way down to the bottom of your template.
- Do this for each entry(Taxes)
- Same with Insurance Deductions and Other Deductions
- This could be CHILD SUPPORT
- ALIMONY etc
- Click on large plus+ sign-keeping your finger clicked and drag all the way down to the bottom of your template. It will copy the rate you entered all the way down to the bottom of your template.
- Hover your cursor over the plus sign until you see a large plus+ sign.
- Click on the box you are edited; you will see a small plus+ sign in the right lower corner.
